ABOUT ME

My name is Ronald Blanken and I am a passionate building inspector with more than 5.5 years of experience in the field. During my career, I have now proudly inspected more than 4.5 thousand homes, accumulating a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Education: 

My journey began after high school with graduation from VWO. I then went on to study at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where I successfully completed the Architecture course at the HVA as well. This gave me a solid foundation in the construction world and further fuelled my passion for building technology and housing.

Practice:

After completing my studies, I further developed my skills as a cooperating project manager at a renowned construction company. Here, I gained valuable experience in building various structures, remodelling homes and carrying out extensive carpentry work. This practical experience enriched my understanding of construction processes and strengthened my problem-solving skills.

In 2018, I started Woningkeur Haarlem as a construction assistant. There, together with the owner, I inspected a very wide range of homes in Haarlem and the immediate surroundings: including flats (existing and new construction), terraced houses, detached houses, villas and monumental properties. This variety makes the work extremely interesting.

With Bouwadviez I now have my own company and can fulfil my ambitions as an independent technical construction advisor. 

With my broad knowledge and expertise I can advise my clients in a targeted way and identify and clearly articulate complex building-technical issues. I attach great value to quick service and keeping appointments. Punctuality is essential to me.
